My name is Autumn Yoder, I’m in 8th grade and I’m in love with the musical artist Alecia Moore, better known at P!nk. I’ve listened to her music since I was young, and I don’t regret a bit of it.

On September 28, 2017 P!nk released “Beautiful Trauma”, a promotional single for her upcoming album, followed by “Whatever You Want” as the second on October 5, 2017.

The upcoming album was called Beautiful Trauma, a look into trouble about love. The album has 13 songs in total, in which I will be going over every song’s meaning. I suggest that you listen to the songs as I review them, you don’t really have to. Click on the song name to pull the song up. I will include more information on P!nk at the bottom of this review. This will be a very in-depth review, so if you have no patience then go find another review to look at. WARNING: there is some vulgar language, so you’ve been warned.

Song 1: Beautiful Trauma (Explicit language)

The first song on the album, “Beautiful Trauma”, details P!nk’s life with her husband, Carey Hart, earlier in life. This song describes how before they weren’t perfect together. One of the lyrics, “ We were on fire, I slashed your tires ,” tells of Thanksgiving 2004, where P!nk quite literally slashed her husband’s tires after a fight. “ My perfect rock bottom, my beautiful trauma ,” shows that P!nk doesn’t care, and loves him even if they weren’t the greatest couple, and she comes back (almost) every time.

Song 2: AfricanBeads 2Row Red Coral Necklace Bracelet Earrings Set African Beads Costume Jewelry Sets Bridal Gift wfesd
(Explicit language)

P!nk sings with Eminem on this track, singing/rapping her story of how Carey emotionally hurt her, and she wants to take revenge on him. P!nk and Eminem are singing in response to each other, showing both sides of the story. “ I wish I was a lawyer, I would sue you, sue you, take your dog, take your house. Take your shoes, take your heart ,” describes P!nk in a state of “screw you, I’ll take all you’ve got”.

John Calvin on the Greek Word

by Keith Watson Updated November 22, 2011

16. For where a testament is, etc. Even this one passage is a sufficient proof, that this Epistle was not written in Hebrew; for ברית means in Hebrew a covenant, but not a testament; but in Greek, διαθήκη , includes both ideas; and the Apostle, alluding to its secondary meaning, holds that the promises should not have been otherwise ratified and valid, had they not been sealed by the death of Christ. And this he proves by referring to what is usually the case as to wills or testaments, the effect of which is suspended until the death of those whose wills they are.

The Greek word diatheke has two distinct meanings. John Calvin states that when this word is used in the New Testament both meanings are intended.

1. Childhood.

John Calvin the Reformer, b. at Noyon (60 m. n.e. of Paris), Picardy, July 10, 1509; d. in Geneva, Switzerland, May 27, 1564...

14. His Ecclesiastical Influence.

By his lectures Calvin attracted students from every quarter. He often had as many as a thousand: therefore his influence was constantly spreading. As was natural, it was most formative in France, whence most of his pupils came, and to whose Protestants Calvin was leader and spiritual father. But in other lands he exerted his power. In Italy he came to the aid of the troubled duchess of Ferrara. To England he sent his commentary on Isaiah, with a dedication to the youthful king, Edward VI. To Cranmer he wrote letters; and through Knox he molded Scotland. He counseled the Moravian Brethren. He helped the Poles in the Trinitarian controversy, and likewise the Reformed cause in Hungary. He also prepared, in his way, the present interest in foreign missions by his unfortunate mission to Brazil in 1555 (See Villegagnon, Nicolas Durand de).

17. His Literary Labors.

Blue jays are highly beneficial to the flora and fauna in their ecosystem: their characteristic 'jay' call warns other birds of predators, and their fondness of acorns is credited with spreading oak forests across North America.

The Blue Jay is a large, crested songbird native to North America with bright blue coloration. Blue jays are known to be beautiful, intelligent and highly aggressive birds. American Expedition is proud to present information , facts , habitat info , bird feeding tips and pictures of the Blue Jay.

Blue Jay Information

Blue jays are large for songbirds, typically measuring between 9 and 12 inches long, and weighing between 2.5 and 3.5 ounces. Distinguishing characteristics of the blue jay include the pronounced blue crest on their heads, which the blue jay may lower and raise depending on its mood, and which will bristle outward when the bird is aggressive or frightened. Blue jays sport colorful blue plumage on their crest, wings, back and tail. Their face is typically white, and they have an off-white underbelly. They have a black-collared neck, and the black extends down the sides of their heads - their bill, legs, and eyes are also all black. Their wings and tail have black, sky-blue, and white bars. Male and female blue jays are nearly identical.

Blue jays typically live in small flocks, and are highly protective of their nesting site. When flying alone, blue jays are subject to predation by hawks, eagles and other raptors. However, when in groups they will 'mob' much larger birds in order to fight them off. Blue Jays can imitate calls of their predators, especially hawks, and may use these calls to test whether or not these predators are in the area. They will also occasionally use these calls to scare other birds away from food sources that the blue jays have come across. In addition to raptors, blue jays may attack other animals, including humans that come too close to their nests.

Blue Jay Facts

Blue Jay Habitat

Blue jays live in deciduous, coniferous and mixed forests throughout the eastern and central areas of the United States, and southern Canada. They also can be found in parks and suburban residential areas, and are frequent guests of backyard bird feeders.

Some blue jays are permanent residents of their range, but others will form into flocks ranging between 5 and 250 in order to migrate southwards. Much of blue jay migratory behavior remains a mystery - some blue jays may migrate one year, then stay in their home range the next, then migrate another year. Some people have theorized that blue jays may migrate if their winter food sources become scarce, or if weather conditions are harsh. It has been found that younger blue jays are more likely to migrate than adults, however it could be that the jays most likely to survive to older age are those that don't migrate as frequently.

What Do Blue Jays Eat?

Blue jays have very strong black bills, which can crack nuts and acorns. Additionally they like to eat corn, grains, berries, seeds, insects, and peanuts. Blue jays will often force smaller birds away from bird feeders, but will typically stay away from the feeders and wait their turn when other medium sized birds, like woodpeckers, are feeding. Blue jays will sometimes eat eggs and nestlings of other birds, but this is rare.

The oldest known blue jay lived to be 17 and a half years old.

Blue jays are especially fond of oak trees and the acorns that they drop.

Blue jays will mimic the calls of predatory raptors in order to test whether or not their predators are nearby.

Blue jays need to either have large bird feeders, or ground feeders. Setting seeds on a ledge may do the trick.

Blue jays will attack humans if they get too close to their nesting areas.

Blue jays are very fond of peanuts.

Blue jays typically fly at speeds of 20-25 miles per hour.

The blue jay's coloration is due to the inner structure of its feathers, which refracts light. If crushed, the blue feathers will turn brown.

Financial Regulation

Germany’s financial system is more stable than it was 10 years ago, but is still vulnerable to risks old and new, a top regulator says.

Published on

The comic-book hero Superman is not only super-strong, he is invulnerable. Bullets bounce off, buildings crumble in his path, blazing heat or icy cold don’t faze him. He is, after all, the Man of Steel.

Germany’s financial system, too, is strong, the country’s top financial regulator claims. Maybe not super-strong, but much stronger than it was 10 years ago when the financial crisis broke out. However, it is far from being invulnerable.

“The financial system is more stable,” Felix Hufeld, president of BaFin, said in an interview with Handelsblatt, “but naturally not invulnerable.”

BaFin and other financial regulators, including the central bank, the Bundesbank, work together to identify trends and risks, to play through scenarios, and to monitor new activities. Mr. Hufeld believes the regulatory authorities are well-prepared to counter risks as they emerge.

“We don’t know which corner the next crisis is coming from. But we try to spot trends and to see where problems could arise.”

“We don’t know, however, which corner the next crisis is coming from,” he said. “But we try of course to spot trends and to see where problems could arise.”

Among the chief vulnerabilities of the financial system are cyberattacks – and not just hacking from the outside, but inside jobs as well. Mr. Hufeld said there was recently an internal cyberattack at a bank in Germany that could have resulted in a loss of more than a billion euros, but fortunately the money was recovered.

“We are one of the first countries that have developed concrete supervisory requirements for the risk management of IT and cyber risks,” Mr. Hufeld said. The rules will go into effect for banks by the end of the year, and then will rolled out to insurance companies and fund managers.

BaFin is also keeping a close eye on the growth in crowdlending. The practice has gone beyond just peer to peer lending to the point that loans are being bundled together and placed with investors – a development disturbingly similar to the subprime securities that contributed to the financial crisis in the first place.
